Unioil is relaunching its Caloocan and Regalado Stations

March 6, 2009

Affirming its position as the leading independent oil player in the country Unioil Petroleum Philippines Incorporated (UPPI) is set to open on Saturday, March 7 two more service and retail stations located at strategic locations in Quezon City and Caloocan.

Chito Medina-Cue, Unioil General Manager said the opening of the Regalado Avenue station in Quezon city and in General Tinio Street Caloocan is part of the company’s expansion program that also entails the upgrading of existing facilities in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

"Despite the current crisis, there are business opportunities and while everybody is slowing down, Unioil will pursue its expansion plan and will build more stations this year," Medina-Cue said.

According to Medina-Cue the opening of the two stations would enable Unioil to reach more customers and provide them with affordable yet quality petroleum products.

With the opening of the service stations, Medina-Cue said they are currently looking for additional sites in Metro Manila and nearby provinces to put up similar facilities.

"On top of the two stations currently under construction, Unioil is signing and targeting six more sites in Las Pinas, Makati and Pasay cities for the initial expansion program this year,"he added.

The company has 40 stations nationwide.
