UNIOIL SAYS EXPO AN OPPORTUNITY TO FURTHER EXPAND FRANCHISE PROGRAM

With an eye toward expanding its presence in the local market and forging ties with interested parties one of the country's leading independent oil player will be joining this year's 17th Annual Philippines International Franchise Conference and Expo on Friday, July 3.
Unioil Petroleum Philippines Incorporated (UPPI) General Manager Chito Medina-Cue Jr. said the event, which will be held at the SMX Convention Center is a good opportunity for the company to present the latest in its franchise program to all interested individuals and businesses who might want to tie-up with Unioil.
Unioil President Kenneth Pundanera said Unioil believes the event will foster greater awareness of the company's business programs, especially that it is in the midst of a P90-million expansion program that will see the construction of additional retail and service stations in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.
“Despite the current financial crunch, Unioil still see great opportunities to expand our franchise and retail distributorship and this expo will enable us to show our program,” Medina-Cue said.
“We will be offering a great package to help those business enthusiasts who are eager to be part of our franchise,” Medina-Cue added.

Aside from retail stations, he stressed that Unioil is also interested in seeking business partners as it expand its lube distributorship in other regions of the country.
Last year, Unioil inked a multi-million peso agreement with the General Santos City-based Silver Tire Traders for the distribution of its lube in the strategic Mindanao region.
