UPPI has opened another service station

May 5, 2009

As a testament to its growing confidence despite the current financial crunch, Unioil Petroleum Philippines Incorporated (UPPI) has opened another service station as part of its multi-million peso expansion program this year.

Chito Medina-Cue, Unioil General Manager said the new service station is located along NAIA Road, Paranaque City and is strategically positioned to service motorists plying the area and those going to and from the country's main international airport, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

“Despite the current crisis, there are business opportunities and while everybody is slowing down, Unioil will pursue its expansion plan and will build more stations this year," Medina-Cue said.

The NAIA station is the third facility opened by Unioil since January this year.

The company awarded the dealership contract to Lindon Co as part of its franchising program to encourage more business opportunities while providing the public with affordable yet high-quality petroleum products.

Last March, the company also inaugurated the Regalado station in Quezon City and another in Caloocan.

The construction of additional service stations and upgrading of existing facilities is also part of Unioil's business opportunity program.

Medina-Cue added that they are currently looking for sites in Metro Manila to put up additional service stations where motorists can buy affordable petroleum products.

Unioil is also signing and targeting six more sites in Las Pinas, Makati and Pasay cities for the initial expansion program this year.

“We are actually encouraging all business enthusiast to avail our franchising program, indeed we are offering a very competitive and affordable package for our future branch partners who want to do business with Unioil,” Medina –Cue explained.

Medina-Cue also informed the public that those who want to be part of the Franchising Program can visit the company's website at www.unioil.com or call us at 6878877.
