Overview
Unioil’s fuel products have various everyday uses. The company supplies various kinds of fuels for the transport industry, as well as other industrial fuels that provide power and energy for electrical plants, factories and even for kerosene-fed portable lamps.
Major industrial fuel product lines include bunker fuel and diesel oils that are sold primarily to a diverse range of institutional clients. Orders can be made through bulk purchases and are normally covered by customized supply contracts that are also tailored-fit to meet the needs of the client. Heavy users of bunker fuel and diesel oils include the power, steel, cement, paper, and textile mills and plants.
Other industrial fuels marketed by Unioil include kerosene, unleaded gasoline and diesel, which are marketed through its retail service station network.
Unioil’s ability to acquire fuels from various sources paved the way to better quality fuels. Such fuels meet and even exceed the stringent quality specifications imposed by the Clean Air Act.
Diesel
EURODIESEL IV
EuroDiesel IV is the latest product diesel offering from Unioil that meets Euro IV standard levels. Considered as the CLEANEST and MOST ADVANCED DIESEL in the PHILIPPINES, EuroDiesel IV guarantees a maximum sulfur content of 50 ppm (parts per million) compared to other Euro II compliant diesels with a sulfur content of 500 ppm. It has a higher cetane number compared to the regular diesels.
Unioil's EuroDiesel IV uses a base fuel that is Euro IV compliant. This diesel fuel is more advanced compared to the usual Euro II and Euro III level diesels. EuroDiesel IV is made available in all Unioil retail stations more than 3 years before the 2016 mandate of the Department of Energy and Natural Resources (DENR).
CLEANER EMISSIONS
EuroDiesel IV has up to 90% lower sulfur content compared to the usual diesel (Euro II or III) available in the market. This translates to a reduction in the emissions of sulfur oxides and sulfate particulate matter. In a study together with the DENR, smoke opacity reductions of up to 83% and 74% were observed for new and old model vehicles, respectively, with the use of EuroDiesel IV compared to that of a leading brand's diesel.
BETTER FUEL EFFICIENCY
EuroDiesel IV has a higher cetane number compared to the usual diesel available in the Philippines. Diesel with a higher cetane number burns faster and has a better ignition quality, giving better fuel efficiency.
FASTER COLD-START PERFORMANCE
EuroDiesel IV can also provide a faster cold-start performance because of its higher cetane number. It readily burns in a cold engine. Its ignition delay is shorter compared to the usual diesel even in the low pressure and low temperature conditions of a long-idled engine. This in turn translates to easier start, smoother operations, less white smoke, and lower noise.
QUIETER ENGINE
EuroDiesel IV ignites before most of the fuel is injected into the combustion chamber. This gives better controlled rates of heat release and pressure increase within the combustion chamber than lower cetane number diesel. This translates to a reduced knock intensity and smoother, quieter engine operations. In an independent study published in 2012, increase of cetane number gave up to 12.5% reduction in noise.
Gasoline
Quantum Pure Power
Unioil Quantum gasoline is the ultimate substitute to leaded gasoline. An environmentally friendly, 97 octane premium motor gasoline with AVR+ additive recommended for high compression engines. Benefits include valve lubrication for smoother engine performance, improved fuel economy, reduced emissions thus maintains a cleaner engine. Recommended uses for old and modern gasoline engines with compression ration of 7.0 and above.
Quantum Pure Power is the first gasoline to successfully reduce substances that are known to be harmful to the environment and human health. Aromatic Hydrocarbons, for one have been found to cause harm to the ozone layer. Benzene, on the other hand, is a known human carcinogen. Long term exposure to benzene can cause a variety of illnesses ranging from nausea, convulsions, and even leukemia – cancer of the blood cells.
QUANTUM PURE POWER also features a detergency additive that cleans and protects your car’s engine while at the same time boosting performance and power. QUANTUM PURE POWER prevents deposition of combustion oxides averting valve seat recession, as well as protecting the fuel injection system against corrosion. QUANTUM PURE POWER can be used on all types of gasoline engines.
UNIOIL’s QUANTUM PURE POWER is the first premium unleaded gasoline to reduce aromatics and benzene content to less than 35% and 2%, respectively.
Unleaded
An unleaded, environmentally friendly, 95 octane premium motor gasoline recommended for high compression engines. It has detergent characteristics for prolonged engine life.
AutoGAS
AutoGAS
AutoGAS or AutoLPG refers to LPG used for vehicles. AutoGAS or AutoLPG is a clean burning, high octane, environmentally friendly and safe transportation fuel. Due to its low emissions, AutoGAS is considered a clean alternative fuel. More importantly, it is much cheaper compared to regular gasoline.

Kerosene
Kerosene
Petroleum distillate for use in general kerosene applications including heating, lighting, and refrigeration. Used for household application such as stoves and lamps. Also used as solvent ingredient for weed-killers and insecticides.
Process Oils and Base Stocks
Process Oil and Base Oils are used as raw materials for blending operations and transformed into lubricants for engines or industrial use. These are sold in bulk volume to other lubricant blenders and manufacturers. As a major supplier of base oil in the local market, Unioil is currently capitalizing on its lead in the market by increasing its product lines for base stock and process oils.
Asphalt

Penetration Grade 60 / 70
Asphalt 60 / 70 is used primarily in road construction and maintenance. Other applications include:
- Waterproofing of roof and floors
- Concrete and steel priming
- Binder for mineral aggregates
- Other industrial applications
Sold mostly in bulk through Asphalt tanker, through isotank, and in drums.
